
Brief Curriculum
Duration of the Program and Related Information:
- It is a three years full-time degree program consisting of six semesters.
- The program shall consist of 38 courses of 100 marks each and two courses of 75(External) and 25(Internal) marks each.
- The Foundation Course and Information Technology (IT) is of 75 marks external examination and 25 marks internal project work.
- A batch shall consist of not more than 120 learners in each division.
- Total number of lectures per paper per semester for theory courses shall be maximum 60 of 48 minutes duration each.
- A learner has to abide by all the rules laid down by the University of Mumbai regarding Attendance, Discipline, Examination etc.

Passing Standard & Promotions / Additional Examinations
Promotion to S.Y.B.Com. is based on following criteria:
F.Y.B.Com – SEMESTER-I
- Passing in all subjects OR A learner is allowed to keep terms (ATKT) in a maximum of 2 subjects
F.Y.B.Com – SEMESTER-II
- Passing in all subjects OR A learner is allowed to keep terms (ATKT) in a maximum of 2 subjects
Promotion to T.Y.B.Com is based on following criteria:
- Learner must be fully passed in FIRST YEAR (Both SEM I & SEM II) and SECOND YEAR(Both SEM III & SEM IV)
- Learner must be fully passed in FIRST YEAR (Both Semesters I & II) and Maximum of 2 ATKT in each of SECOND YEAR (SEM III and SEM IV)
- Learner must have Maximum of 2 ATKT in each of FIRST YEAR (SEM I and SEM II) and fully passed in SECOND YEAR (Both Semesters III & IV)
Summary:
Student has to COMPULSORILY PASS EITHER FIRST YEAR (SEM I AND SEM II) fully OR SECOND YEAR (SEM III and SEM IV) fully.
Note: ATKT’s in Sem I and (Sem III or Sem IV) OR ATKT’s in Sem II and (Sem III or Sem IV)are referred as Cross KT’s. In such a case the learner shall not get admission in THIRD YEAR.
